Hello! My name is Olivia and I'm a photographer who's home-base is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. My main focus is equine photography, but I will take photos of just about anything. My work spans through classic portraits to photojournalism, weddings to sports, whatever you're looking for, I have the services. No matter what I'm taking photos of, my goal always remains the same: to capture a moment exactly how it is. I strive for artwork that radiates raw emotion and authenticity, making each session different from the last.

How do I work?

 

 

My favorite photos are always the "in between" moments. In between a pose when you scratch your horses ear, or give them a gentle touch on the nose. The moments when you're caught off-guard and display your most unabashed smile - those are my favorite. Always posing my clients at first (I know how nervous I get in front of the camera...I need guidance!) but slowly backing off and capturing whatever happens in front of my lens. Some of my sessions are more heavily posed, like college graduation and fine art photos, but I always make sure there is room to let the candid's breathe.
